"Who Were the Navajo Code Talkers?"
Infographic Animation Video
I was tasked with creating an animated infographic video on the Navajo Code Talkers. I created everything from the script, voice-over, graphics, and animation. In short, this is a one-man project.
Mood Board and Style Guide
I started with creating a style guide to base my animation on. I did some research on the Navajo code talkers, animation styles to take inspiration from, and what my presenter character can look like. I chose the color schemes and type fonts that will appear throughout the video, as well as a rough sketch of my presenter.
Storyboard
Once I have the research and style down, I went ahead and storyboarded the animation's pacing.
Presenter Character
I then created the skeleton of the presenter to prepare for character rigging before finalizing the colored design.
Asset Creation
In addition to the presenter, I created background assets to go along with the animation. I created these assets in Illustrator and added final touches in After Effects.
